Generations of players and cheerleaders have worn the Steelers colors with pride, and many alumni return to give back as coaches, volunteers, and mentors. We are committed to serving the Bellevue community by providing an inclusive and positive experience for all participants.

Whether your child is a first-time athlete or an experienced player or cheerleader, we welcome them to join the Bellevue Steelers family. Together, we continue to build a tradition of excellence, perseverance, and sportsmanship that will last for years to come.

Football + Cheer
Excellence

Our football teams practice and play home games at Bellevue Middle School, located at 655 Colice Jeanne Road. Each season, we compete against top youth teams in Middle Tennessee, preparing our athletes for the next level of competition. Our coaching staff is dedicated to teaching fundamental football techniques while instilling the importance of teamwork, accountability, and determination.

Our cheerleading program is an essential part of the Steelers’ tradition, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every game. Our cheerleaders learn important skills such as leadership, coordination, and confidence while supporting their team from the sidelines and participating in cheer competitions.

Our Vision

At the Bellevue Steelers, we strive to offer a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where players and cheerleaders can develop their skills while forming lifelong friendships. Our program is built on the values of integrity, dedication, respect, and perseverance. Through competitive play, structured training, and mentorship, we aim to help our athletes reach their fullest potential. No matter the sport, we emphasize teaching the fundamentals of each sport with discipline and consistency. Our goal is to help athletes build a strong foundation, improve their techniques, and develop confidence in their abilities.

Athletics play a key role in teaching discipline, leadership, and time management—qualities that help our young athletes succeed in school and in life. We encourage academic excellence and personal responsibility, ensuring that our players understand the importance of balancing sports with their education and future goals. By reinforcing these values, the Bellevue Steelers continue to be a pillar of strength and opportunity for young athletes in Bellevue and beyond.

Join us in building champions, on and off the field!

History

What Sets Us Apart-Community Tradition

Since 1977, the Bellevue Steelers have been a cornerstone of youth football and cheerleading in Bellevue, Tennessee. For over four decades, our organization has provided children with a structured, positive, and competitive environment where they can learn, grow, and excel—both on and off the field.

As proud members of the Tennessee Youth Football League (TNYFL), the Bellevue Steelers are dedicated to fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership in young athletes. We believe that youth sports play a crucial role in developing character, work ethic, and confidence that extends beyond the game.

Expanding Our Legacy

The Bellevue Steelers continue to grow! We have proudly branched out into basketball and flag football through an exciting partnership with the West Nashville Sports League. This expansion allows us to offer even more opportunities for young athletes in Bellevue to develop their skills, stay active, and be part of a winning team.

Through WNSL, our athletes can participate in a high-quality basketball program, where they learn fundamental skills, teamwork, and strategy in a competitive yet supportive environment. Additionally, our flag football division provides a fun, fast-paced, and inclusive way for kids to experience the sport without the contact of tackle football.

By joining forces with WNSL, we continue our mission of providing accessible, well-organized, and community-driven youth sports programs that help shape young athletes into confident and responsible individuals.
