Bellevue Steelers Flag Football Off to a Great Start!

We’re off to a strong start this season with four Bellevue Steelers Flag Football teams competing in WNSL—and the momentum is building!

While our 1st and 6th grade teams faced close losses in their season openers, they bounced back in a big way! On March 29th, Coach T and Coach Juan led our 1st graders to an incredible 35-0 shutout victory in their second game! Not to be outdone, our 6th grade squad came back fighting and secured a dominant 26-6 win in their second weekend.

Our 7th and 8th grade teams remain undefeated, and they’re not just winning games—they’re putting on a show every time they step on the field. These athletes demonstrate incredible grit, focus, and unity, playing like a true team with heart and hustle.

Our quarterbacks are throwing absolute dimes, connecting with their receivers in stride and making big plays under pressure. The chemistry between players is undeniable—every pass and every route is filled with purpose. The defense is locked in, too, shutting down drives with sharp reads and quick flag pulls.

Even when faced with tough opponents and tight moments, our kids dig deep and persevere with confidence and composure. They’re learning to trust each other, rise to challenges, and never let up until the final whistle blows. Their growth from week to week is inspiring, and it’s clear—this group is something special.
